Terms & Conditions
To ensure that the accommodation you require will be available, please make your booking as soon as possible.
We are happy to reserve particular accommodation, but there may be exceptional circumstances when that accommodation is not available in which case we reserve the right to provide equivalent alternative accommodation.
Provisional bookings by telephone are accepted, but must be confirmed within seven days unless the deposit is paid by credit/debit card over the telephone.
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of payment and a minimum deposit of £25.00 per person, unless that exceeds the total cost of the booking, in which case the deposit will be the cost of one night's accommodation per person. You will be sent a confirmation of booking by post, and the balance of monies due is payable on arrival.
Once the Patricia has issued confirmation of booking you are responsible for the whole cost of the accommodation reserved.
The number of people booked must not exceed the total number of bed spaces. Any alteration to the party specified at the time of booking must be notified to us as soon as possible. We reserve the right to refuse an amended booking.
No allowances can be made for temporary absence, meals not taken or accommodation vacated before the expiry of the reservation.
For only one person occupying a double or twin bedded room the charge is one and a half times the tariff per night.
CANCELLATIONS
In the event of a cancellation six weeks or more before the start of the reservation, we will provide a full refund of monies paid (less £25.00 administration charge).
Should you have to cancel the booking you shall be held responsible for the full cost of the accommodation unless The Patricia can re-let the accommodation reserved. In that case a refund will be made less £25.00 administration charge. We have arranged a cancellation insurance package, detail of which will be sent with your confirmation of booking. Cancellations must be immediately notified in writing by recorded delivery. We strongly advise you to take cancellation insurance because if the accommodation cannot be re-let then you will be legally obliged to pay in full.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES
Accommodation will be available from 15:00hrs on the day of arrival. If you intend to arrive after 18:00hrs please let us know in advance. Accommodation must be vacated by 10:00hrs on the day of departure. Late arrivals or early departures will not receive a refund for any holiday missed.
MISCELLANEOUS
The Patricia reserves the right to refuse entry or expel anyone who is behaving badly and causing upset to other guests. In such cases we will not provide a refund for any holiday days lost.
Please note that all bedrooms and public areas* of the accommodation are designated as non-smoking areas, anyone who smokes in these areas will be told to leave the Patricia and we will not provide a refund for any holiday days lost. * The lounge/bar has been designated a smoking area, however, because it is a licensed area, a member of the Management must be present, therefore it is not always possible for this area to be available at all times.
Property left at the Patricia will be kept for four weeks, after that time it will be disposed of at a local charity shop. If you require the items to be sent to you we will return the items on receipt of a letter agreeing to cover the cost of post and packaging.
Any guest staying or visiting the Patricia does so at his/her own risk. We will not accept liability for loss or damage to any property unless caused by our own negligence. This does not exclude or limit any of your legal rights and privileges.
We do not allow pets, babies, children or teenagers at the The Patricia.
Any unresolved dispute shall be referred to the jurisdiction of the English courts only and shall be governed by English Law and interpretation.
When your booking is confirmed then it is assumed that you have read these Terms and Conditions and that they have your agreement.
We aim to give you every satisfaction during your holiday with us, but please raise any matter of complaint with the Management at the time, or in any event within seven days of returning from your holiday.
We strongly advise you to take out holiday Insurance, as all cancellations must be paid in full.
